This was one of the more basic Daily Create assignments we had this week: Draw something you bought today, either by hand, or with animation software. Given the circumstances, I decided to draw a can of Mountain Dew and some chicken tenders, to represent the drinks and meal I picked up on the way home from class. I drew the tenders and soda can by hand, coloring them in with Crayola markers. The design for the can, itself, was a nod to one of the older designs for the Mountain Dew can, mixed with the current logo, while the chicken tenders themselves were drawn, more or less, from memory. The rest was academic: Once I finished everything up, I took a photo of it with my iPhone, uploaded it to my computer, and sent it over to my Flickr account, and the Daily Create Twitter feed. This concludes my second Daily Create challenge this week.
