After last week’s affairs, I tried to be more positive in my constructive criticism. During this time, I noticed how much these students really care about these classes, flaws and all. If nothing else, this is my most important lesson to learn from the previous week: When a soldier tells their subordinate to hold their fire, until they see the whites of their eyes, they’re not just giving them the verbal equivalent of James Bond’s license to kill. Sometimes, you need to better understand how, and why, someone feels the way they do, before you do something, that you’ll regret, at their expense. I’ll see what I can do to keep everything in check; with that in mind, here are this week’s comments, excluding responses.
