The final Daily Create challenge I participated in this week revolved around “juxtapositions” of old and new imagery, as we had to use public domain prints, of scenes from the Sino-Japanese War of the 1890s, in the background. I decided that I would try to do my version of the opening sequence of the television series, MASH, which took place during the Korean conflict of the early 1950s, by having a modern military helicopter fly over the current North Korean capital city of Pyongyang, in the midst of a night-time assault. Once everything was edited into place, all I had to do was upload everything to the usual sites, thus finishing off my Daily Create portion of Week Five’s checklist.
